About

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.

-Oscar Wilde

Not these thoughts I hope.

Singapore

Sucks so hard to be back in Singapore. It's funny how I took a week to integrate back into the Singapore timezone but fell right into step with America's.

Since I've got back, I've got to hang out with a bunch of people I've missed. The sickest part about this is that I've left the person I miss the most behind. You can't ever have it all can you?

Reminiscing about the flight back home never fails to make my stomach twist a little. People should never have to go through things as sad as that, but they do.

I received a call today regarding the Green Card. I was just checking it out online and filled the form in a little before I realized that I actually needed to pay 399 euros for a chance at winning the Green Card for the duration of four years.

The guy on the phone explained that there are a few ways to get it, get married, invest at least $400k in the country or win a Green Card. Apparently, Singaporeans have a high chance of being allocated Green Cards this year too. Then again, if Meng and I work out then I wouldn't need a Green Card, would I? Took me a while to convince the fella that I was just looking at the site for fun.

I've been so worried about money ever since I got back because I'm afraid that I won't be financially able to see Meng again or get to inhale and bodily process expensive American molecules.

College is going to start soon, so I've been trying to secure tuition students for a bit of money. Hopefully, this will help ease my raging thoughts a little.

I feel like a 60 year old trapped in a girl's body. Just weary.
